The common thread running through your work is created at three levels: theory, structure, and language.
Make the structure clear by ensuring that each section includes an introduction and conclusion and inserting explicit transitions
Each paragraph is a unit (introductory sentence, explanation, transition to the next paragraph). Ask yourself: Is there a reason for this paragraph to exist? If the paragraph or part of a paragraph is not relevant to the specific topic, remove it! (Even if you really wrestled with the right wording.)
