  •  Operating system of your computer: Microsoft Windows 10,11 (ext. Link) or Apple macOS 10.13 - 12.6.1. (ext. Link)
  •  Cisco Webex Meetings is installed and operational
  •  Webcam and microphone are in operation (please test both beforehand!). You need both for the identity check of the students before the start of the exam.
  •  To be on the safe side, your laptop shold be plugged into a power source during the time of the examination

  •  DSL-, cable or fibre optic cable internet connection
    •  LTE or UMTS are possible. , but not recommended
  •  Connection between computer and internet source:
    •  recommended: Ethernet cable between computer and router. If that is not possible:
    •  Wireless LAN: Make sure you have a strong and stable connection! Try to stick close to the router.
  •  Do not run any other software during the examination, especially no downloads or streaming software (Youtube. Netflix, Spotify,...)

There may be brief interruptions during your digital distance exam, e.g. due to a poor internet connection. When the connection is re-established and the exam page is then reloaded, you may be asked for a master password to resume your exam (see screenshot). The master password is always announced in the exam introduction before your @home exam and is different each time - if you enter the password now, you will get back into your exam and can continue.
