Type of measurement:
Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is a method used widely in molecular biology to make millions to billions of copies of a specific DNA sample rapidly, allowing scientists to take a very small sample of DNA and amplify it to a large enough amount to study in detail.
Requirements:
- all users must gain Gain permission to work in the Biolabs and by follwoing the How-to-Start procedure.
- Get access to the “ZellbioBCP-users” storage network drive by attending the Biosafety instructions (--> Katharina Achazi)suprafab-analytics to save measuremnt data.
- Book the device using OpenIRIS (protocls see here).
- Get all users must get an introduction to the device by the responsible person
- mark the time slot at which you want to do a measurement in the calendar, to avoid conflict with other user’s plans
