Requirements:
- Gain permission to work in the Biolabs by follwoing the How-to-Start procedure.
- Booking of the device is not needed but book the respective cell culture bench or the bench in the OM sample preparation lab.
- Get an introduction to the device by the responsible person (see above).
- Use the matching counting slides
- Use a smooth pen with no pressure to operate the cell counter display → do not press hard on the display, it can break
- Clean the device after use
Type of MeasurementType of measurement:
Automated counting of cells by captiuring a high resolution image of your cells and analyzes the image to produce total, live, and dead cell counts. Cells can be counted unstained or stained. cell viability data is assessed for cells stained with trypan blue or erythrosin B. Live cells are tagged with green circles and dead cells are tagged with red circles.
Requirements:
- All users must gain permission to work in the Biolabs and access to the “Zellbio-users” network drive by attending the Biosafety instructions (--> Katharina Achazi)
- All users must get an introduction to the device by the responsible person
- Booking of cell culture becnhes includes use of the cell counter (booking of cell culture benches via OpenIRIS)
