- Gain permission to work in the Biolabs by follwoing the How-to-Start procedure.
- Get an introduction to the device by the responsible person (see above).
- Booking of the incubator is not needed but book the respective cell culture benchesbench or the bench in the bench in the OM sample preparation lab includes the use of incubators.
- Regularly check, if water pan is filled with autoclaved water containing incuwater-clean → add 5ml incuwater-clean to 500ml autoclaved water.
- Incubators must be cleaned once a month with water and soap and wiped with ethanol and incubator-clean.
- DO NOT use the incubator for bacteria or samples → instead use the incubator for bacteria in 115.6. & 115.7.
- DO NOT change the temperature → if you nee another temperature, talk to the other users, indicate the changed temperature with a good visible note at the outside of the incubator and change back to 37°C afterwards
- Incubators for suspension cells with a shaker are avaiable in the labb area 115
