In addtion, you need to make an appointment with FUB's medical service (amz-anmeldung@charite.de) for an occupational health examinations according to the examination principles G42, G24 and G37 (attach letter: 2022-05-23_Brief_Betriebsarzt_Biostoffe.pdf) before you start to work with human materials (cells, tissue, blood etc.). A certificate about this examination and the periodic re-eaxamination needs to be provided to Katharina Achazi as head of th e biolab.
For work in the Biolab Takustr. 6 you need addtionally an introduction from Anke Hoppensack for work with bio materials in protection level 2 (BIO II).
→ No Bio II work (e.g. with blood or primary cells) allowed until further notice.
Once a year, every Biolab User has to attent the mandatory Biosafety introduction.
