4. Klicken Sie nun mit der rechten Maustaste auf "SEB_x.y.z_SetupBundle.exe" und wählen Sie "Als Administrator ausführen"

5. Bestätigen Sie nun die Lizenzbedingungen und klicken Sie auf "Install"

6. Sie werden nun durch die Installation geführt. 

7. Nach der Installation klicken Sie auf "Close"

8. Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie alle nicht benötigten Programme geschlossen haben und alle geöffneten Dokumente gespeichert haben.

9. Gehen Sie wieder in den "Downloads" Ordner zurück.

10. Klicken Sie nun doppelt auf "E-Exam@Home - Configuration - Vx.y.z.seb"

11. Der Safe Exam Browser startet nun. Wenn Sie auf die Login-Seite der Prüfungsplattform gelangen, haben Sie alle Schritte korrekt befolgt.

Um den Safe Exam Browser zu starten, müssen Sie IMMER doppelt auf die Konfigurationsdatei "E-Exam@Home - Configuration - Vx.y.z.seb" klicken. Nur so startet der Safe Exam Browser mit der korrekten Konfiguration.

12. Sollten Sie die Meldung erhalten: "Die Lokale Konfiguration wurde gespeichert und wird benutzt...", klicken Sie auf "nein". Sie gelangen dann auf die Login-Seite und können den Safe Exam Browser nutzen.

Alternativ: Laden Sie sich die aktuelle Konfigurationsdatei herunter. Hier tritt die Meldung nicht mehr auf.

• Klicken Sie unten links in das Windows-Suchfeld.
• Geben Sie dort "Systemsteuerung" ein.
• Klicken Sie dann auf den Eintrag "Systemsteuerung".
• Es öffnet sich ein neues Fenster.

Klicken Sie unter dem Reiter "Programme" auf "Programm deinstallieren".

Es öffnet sich ein neues Fenster.

Sie sehen nun alle auf Ihrem Computer installierten Programme.

Scrollen Sie auf der Seite herunter, bis Sie zum Eintrag "Safe Exam Browser" gelangen.

Klicken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste auf den Eintrag "Safe Exam Browser" und wählen Sie "Deinstallieren".

Sie werden gefragt, ob Sie den "Safe Exam Browser" deinstallieren möchten. Klicken Sie auf "Ja".

In einem neuen Fenster werden Sie gefragt, ob Sie die App Änderungen an Ihrem Gerät vornehmen darf. Klicken Sie auch hier auf "ja".

Der "Safe Exam Browser" wird nun deinstalliert.

Sie können nun die neuste Version des "Safe Exam Browsers" von unserer Wiki-Seite herunterladen und installieren.

4. Right-click on "SEB_x.y.z_SetupBundle.exe" and select "Run as Administrator".

5. Accept the "license terms and conditions" and select "Install".

6. Follow the installation instructions. 

7. Finish the installation by clicking on the "Close" button.

8. Make sure, once again, that no other programs or unsaved files are open.

9. Go back to the "Downloads" folder (or where you saved the files).

10. Double-click on "E-Exam@Home - Configuration - Vx.y.z.seb".

11. The Safe Exam Browser will launch now. If you see the Login page, you followed all steps correctly.

You ALWAYS have to double-click the configuration file "E-Exam@Home - Configuration - Vx.y.z.seb" if you want to launch Safe Exam Browser.

12. If you receive the message "Die Lokale Konfiguration wurde gespeichert und wird benutzt..." upon starting the Safe Exam Browser, you can click on "Nein".

As an alternative: Download the most recent configuration file. Then, this prompt will not appear anymore.

• Click the links on the Windows search box below.
• From there, type "Control Panel".
• Then click on the "Control Panel" entry.
• A new window will open up.

• Under the "Programs" tab, click "Uninstall a program".
• A new window will open up.

3. Klicken Sie auf "Downloads"

4. Im "Downloads"-Ordner sehen Sie nun die beiden heruntergeladenen Dateien.

5. Klicken Sie zuerst doppelt auf das Disk Image File: "SafeExamBrowser-x.y.z.dmg". 

6. Nun müssen Sie den Safe Exam Browser in den Applikationen-Ordner ziehen.
    Klicken Sie dafür auf das Symbol des Safe Exam Browses (links), halten Sie das Symbol gedrückt und ziehen Sie das Symbol auf den Applikationen-Ordner.
   
NEU: Sollten Sie bereits eine ältere Version des Safe Exam Browsers auf Ihrem Gerät installiert haben, werden Sie gefragt, ob Sie die alte Datei ersetzen wollen. Klicken auf „Ersetzen“.

7. Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie alle nicht benötigten Programme geschlossen haben und alle geöffneten Dokumente gespeichert haben. 

 8. Gehen Sie nun wieder in den "Downloads-Ordner"

 9. Klicken Sie nun doppelt auf die erforderliche Konfigurationsdatei "E-Exam@Home - Configuration - Vx.y.z.seb"

10. Sie erhalten folgende Sicherheitsfrage:

11. Nachdem Sie auf "Öffnen" geklickt haben, startet der Safe Exam Browser. Sollten Sie zur Anmeldeseite für die Prüfungsplattform gelangen, haben Sie alle Schritte korrekt befolgt. 

NEU: Um den Safe Exam Browser zu starten, müssen Sie IMMER die Konfigurationsdatei "E-Exam@Home - Configuration - Vx.y.z.seb" doppelt anklicken. Nur dann startet der Safe Exam Browser in der gewünschten Konfiguration.

12. Wenn Sie den Safe Exam Browser beenden wollen, klicken Sie auf den "Beenden"-Knopf unten rechts.

• Öffnen Sie den "Finder" über den Dock.

• Wählen Sie links im Menü die Programme aus und suchen Sie den Safe Exam Browser
• KlickenSie mit der rechten Maustaste auf das SEB-Icon und wählen Sie die Option "In den Papierkorb legen".

Das "Safe Exam Browser" ist nun deinstalliert.

Sie können anschließend den Papierkorb öffnen und entleeren.

Sie können nun die neuste Version des "Safe Exam Browsers" von unserer Wiki-Seite herunterladen und installieren.

3. Select "Downloads".

4. You will find both downloaded files in the "Downloads" folder.

5. Double-click on the Disk Image File: "SafeExamBrowser-x.y.z.dmg". 

6. You must drag the Safe Exam Browser in the "Applications" folder.
    Left-click on the symbol of the Safe Exam Browser (do not release the left mouse button), drag it to the "Applications" folder and drop it by releasing the left mouse button. 

New: If you already installed an older version of the Safe Exam Browser, your Mac will ask if you want to replace the old file. You have to confirm this.

7. Make sure, once again, that no other programs or unsaved files are open.

 8. Go back to "Downloads".

 9. Double-click on "E-Exam@Home - Configuration - Vx.y.z.seb".

10. You will see a dialog box with a safety enquiry. 

11. Confirm that you want to use the Safe Exam Browser by selecting "Open / (Öffnen)", this will open the Safe Exam Browser for the first time. If you see the Login Page after the launch, you followed all steps correctly.

If you want to launch the Safe Exam Browser, you always have to double-click the configuration file "E-Exam@Home - Configuration - Vx.y.z.seb". Only then, will the Safe Exam Browser start with the correct configuration.

12. Select the "End / (Beenden)" button in the bottom-right corner if you want to close Safe Exam Browser.

• Open "Finder".

• Please click on "Applications" in the left and look for the Safe Exam Browser.
• Please right-click on the SEB-Icon and choose "move to Bin".

The Safe Exam Browser is now uninstalled.

You can right-click on the trash icon and click on "empty the Bin"

You can now install the newest version of the Safe Exam Browsers here.
