Es handelt sich hierbei um keinen technischen Fehler.
Diese Meldung erscheint in den Fällen, in denen Sie die Applikation nicht über den regulären Weg (siehe unten) starten wollen, sondern stattdessen das Installationsprogramm ("SEB_x.y.z_SetupBundle.exe") erneut ausführen wollen.
Das Installationsprogramm erkennt in diesem Fall, dass die Applikation bereits installiert ist und bietet nur eine Deinstallation an.

When you start the Safe Exam Browser, a pop-up window informs you that you can merely deinstall the software (see figure below):

The message appears when you don't open the software in the usual way (see below) and instead try to open the installation file again ("SEB_x.y.z_SetupBundle.exe").
The installation program recognises that the software is already installed on your computer and can only offer the deinstallation of the software.

Regular start of Safe Exam Browser
Please press the "Windows" key on your keyboard.
Type "Safe Exam Browser" in the search bar.
You should now see the icon of the Safe Exam Browser (see screenshot) and can use it to start the software.
