At the FUB we have a mandatory electronic inventory of hazardous substances named CLAKS: Chemikalien-LAger- und Kataster-System (Chemicals storage and inventory system).
CLAKS provides
- an inventory of chemicals and hazardous substances → check before you order a substance
- Safety data sheets and information about hazardous substances → before working with a certain substance and in case of an emergency: look up information
All chemical and substances in the lab need to be registerd in CLAKS (contact Elisa, Johanna or Katharina G. for support).

With the CLAKS read-only account, you can access the data base without registration.
