The regulatory authorities, when carrying out their responsibili­ ties, shall ensure compliance with this Regulation and the Guide­ lines adopted pursuant to Article 18. Where appropriate to fulfil the aims of this Regulation the regulatory authorities shall coop­ erate with each other, with the Commission and the Agency in compliance with Chapter IX of Directive 2009/72/EC.
