Why do I need this?
The BCP -storage Storage file system is intended for transferring measurement data from long term storage of measurement (raw) data captured by a measurement computer to its as well as transfer of measurement data to your own computer or to the workgroup research group drive , as because of data safety reasons USB devices are not allowed on measurement should not be connected to measurements computers. For major instrumentation e.g. XS, Cryo-EM or the microscopes of the OM facility, the BCP-storage should be also used for
For data from Devices in SupraFAB as well as in themeasurement room Taku3, you can use the BCP Storage network drive suprafab-analytics network drive for data transfer.
For Major Instrumentation of the Electron Microscopy, Optical Microscopy, Microfluidics, PharmaMS & Surface Analytics Facility, device specific network drives are available that should be used for data transfer & long-term storage of (raw) long-term data storage of the raw data (up to 10 Years).

Requirements
To get access to the BCP-storage ask your group's BCP-storage manager or your research group head to add your zedat account to your MI-portal workgroup ().
For OM only: Additionally, provide your zedat name to Katharina Achazi or Marta Maglione to give you access to the OM device network drives.If you are not on campus (connected to ZEDAT-network/WIFI), you have to connect your computer via VPN in advance.
