Details:

We have three several analysis workstations (BioAnalysis PC1, PC2, PC3, PC4 & PC3PC5) for analyzing data obtained in the Biolabs of the Bioanalytic unit.

Do not store data on the workstation hard drives but use the BCP-storage network drives instead! Remeber that the use of USB sticks and hard drives s well as other devices is forbidden.

The workstations BioAnalysis PC1, PC2, PC3, PC4 & PC3 PC5 are equipped with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Affinity Suite (similar to photoshop), Origin, Mestrenova, Mestre NivaChemDraw, MatLab, Stata, JMP statistics, R, Endnote, Mendely, Box.FU, Webex, Fiji (ImageJ), Zeiss, Zen blue, LAS X, FlowJo (License Dongle need to be booked separately), Graph Pad Prism (planned, not available now, see: Software Biolab), Imspector (planned, not available now) and are administrated by the zedat and you . You can log in to all BioAnalysis PCs with your zedat account. The software Graph Pad Prism is available only on OM Analysis PC1 and PC2 bookable also via OpenIris.

Software:

University-wide licensed software packages and standard solutions for editing, video production, literature management, scientific work such asAdobe Acrobat, MS Office, EndNote, MATLAB, Mestrenova or Stata can be selected and installed on the software page of ZEDAT.

Software packages with licenses restricted to the BCP department such as ChemDraw, CambridgeStructuralDatabase CSD or OriginPro can be selected and installed on the BCP IT page.

  • Fiji is an image processing package - a “batteries-included” distribution of ImageJ2, bundling a lot of plugins which facilitate scientific image analysis.
  • Leica LAS X is the software platform for all Leica microscopes: It integrates confocal, widefield, stereo, super-resolution, and light-sheet instruments from Leica Microsystems.
  • Imspector is the software from the Abberior STED micrscope.
  • Zen lite is the Zeis micrpscope software.
  • BioRender is a web application that can be used to create scientific figures, diagrams, and illustrations from a scientifically accurate image library but you need a license for full access (if ou do not have a license, ask in your lab mates, who is the license holder for the lab).
  • CFX Maestro 2.2 is the software of the BioRAD qPCR cycler.
  • Image Lab is the software for the BioRAD gel documentation system.
  • MO.Affinity and MO.Control is the software to operate the MST devices and to analyze MST data.

    RTCA is the software for the real time cell analyzer (RTCA).
