The regulatory authorities, when carrying out their responsibili ties, shall ensure compliance with this Regulation and the Guide lines adopted pursuant to Article 18. Where appropriate to fulfil the aims of this Regulation the regulatory authorities shall coop erate with each other, with the Commission and the Agency in compliance with Chapter IX of Directive 2009/72/EC.
