The sample preparation lab is dedicated to the direct preparation of living samples for optical micvrscopy as cells, plants and other organsisms. It is equipped with
- a sterile work bench (book via OpenIris)
- a basic light microscope,
- pipettes,
- a fridge/freezer combi
- two climate chambers for plants
- a CO2 incuabtor for eucaryotic cells,
- a water bath and
- a small benchtop centrifuge
