Welcome on the Wiki pages of the Optical Microscopy Unit of the Research Building SupraFAB and the Core Facility BioSupraMol, Freie Universität Berlin. The OM facility is situated Altensteinstr. 23a with satellite locations Takustr. 3 and Königin-Luise-Str. 12-16. The multi-user facility can be used by scientists and students of the department Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy and the Physics Department as well as guests. The OM facility in combination with the SupraFAB Bioanalytic Unit "Biolab" is equipped for a broad range of methods and techniques in the field of optical microscopy. The OM Wiki provides information about available instrumentation, image analysis using Fiji, software downloads & links and further information as well as facility access including instrument booking via OpenIRIS and safety regulations.
