Schritt-für-Schritt-Anleitung

Bitte beachten Sie, dass Sie für die Installation Administrationsrechte auf Ihrem Computer benötigen!

Laden Sie von hier den Safe Exam Browser und die aktuelle Konfigurationsdatei herunter.
Bitte beachten Sie: u.U. erhalten Sie eine spezifische Konfigurationsdatei (z.B. für Open-Book-Prüfungen) direkt von Ihren Lehrenden.
Schließen Sie alle nicht benötigten Programme (z.B. Webex, Skype, Zoom, Mail) und speichern Sie alle offenen Dokumente.
Öffnen Sie nun den "Explorer" und klicken Sie auf "Downloads"
Klicken Sie nun mit der rechten Maustaste auf "SEB_x.y.z_SetupBundle.exe" und wählen Sie "Als Administrator ausführen"
Bestätigen Sie nun die Lizenzbedingungen und klicken Sie auf "Install"
Sie werden nun durch die Installation geführt.
Nach der Installation klicken Sie auf "Close"
Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie alle nicht benötigten Programme geschlossen haben und alle geöffneten Dokumente gespeichert haben.
Achtung: Bevor Sie die folgenden Schritte befolgen, lesen Sie diese genau durch. Nach dem Start des Safe Exam Browsers können Sie diese nicht parallel lesen.
Gehen Sie wieder in den "Downloads" Ordner zurück.
Klicken Sie nun doppelt auf "E-Exam@Home - Configuration - Vx.y.z.seb"
Sie erhalten nun die Meldung, dass die Konfiguration gespeichert wurde:
Klicken Sie nun auf "Ja", um den Safe Exam Browser zu beenden.
Beim nächsten Start ist der Safe Exam Browser einsatzbereit.

Recommendation: Install all available operating system updates (ext. Link), before you begin with the installation of the Safe Exam Browser

Please make sure you have administrator rights on your chosen computer! You can't install the software otherwise.

Download the Safe Exam Browser and the current configuration data file (FUB Standard-Konfigurationsdatei) from here.
Please remember: in some cases you get a specific configuration data file directly from your professor or tutor (e.g. 'open book examinations').
Save all open documents and close all unnecessary software (e.g. WebEx, Zoom, Mail, Spotify,...).
Open the "Explorer" and select the folder you saved both files in (normally "Downloads").
Right-click on "SEB_x.y.z_SetupBundle.exe" and select "Run as Administrator".
Accept the "license terms and conditions" and select "Install".
Follow the installation instructions.
Finish the installation by clicking on the "Close" button.
Make sure, once again, that no other programs or unsaved files are open.
IMPORTANT: Read the rest of the steps carefully before proceeding. After opening the Safe Exam Browser you will not be able to read this page until you finished the configuration.
Go back to the "Downloads" folder (or where you saved the files).
Double-click on "E-Exam@Home - Configuration - Vx.y.z.seb".
You will see a dialog box "Konfiguration erfolgreich" if the configuration was successful.
Click "Ja", to close the Safe Exam Browser.
The Safe Exam Browser is now ready when you start it the next time.
