Ab Wintersemester 2022/2023 finden die Präsenzprüfungen im E-Examination Center 1 und E-Examination Center 2 statt.
Bitte achten Sie darauf in welchem Center Sie Ihre Prüfung schreiben! Diese Information erhalten Sie per Mail von dem/der Lehrenden.
Auf der folgenden Seite finden Sie Informationen und Anleitungen zur Durchführung von "E-Examinations" im EEC2 (E-Examination Center 2).

The digital in-person exams take place at E-Examination Center 1 and E-Examination Center 2 from winter semester 2022/2023.
Please pay attention to at which center you will take your exam! You will receive this information by e-mail from your lecturer.
On the following page you will find information and instructions for taking part in "E-Examinations" at the EEC2 (E-Examination Center 2).

Information and instructions on "E-Examinations" at the E-Examination Center 2 (EEC²)


1) Address EEC² (E-Examination Center 2)


The EEC² (E-Examination Center 2) is located at Takustraße 39, 14195 Berlin, on the premises of the Seminaris conference hotel (https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/9293478134).


2) Process of taking an exam

  1. Please be in the examination room at the beginning of the examination.
  2. Have your identity card and student ID ready.
  3. Please place your drinks on the floor.
  4. Explanations on how to deal with any technical problems, that may arise during the examination, are given at the beginning of the examination as part of the joint introduction with the lecturer.
  5. Please note that a technical test report is automatically created during the test. This is used for technical error analysis.
  6. If you have any questions or problems, please raise your hand.


Currently we are using the following keyboards at the EECs:


Cherry KC 1000 and Cherry KC 1068.


3) Login and start during an exam

  1. Now enter the login data that you have received from the E-Exams team during the introduction.
    Attention: Please don't log in until you are asked to do so. These are NOT the login details you use for other FUB services.

2. You will now see a declaration of independence and consent. In order to take the exam, you must agree to this statement.

To agree, therefore, first click on the little box "I have read the terms" and then click on "Accept" (German: "Akzeptieren").

3. You are now on an overview page. This page contains the exams available to you.

Important: The exams are only being activated up from the exam start time. The "Ready" button is only then displayed.



4) Exam interface

  • Left side: The exam questions (here numbered). You can directly click on them or use the arrows (explained below).
  • Top navigation (from left to right):
    • Arrow keys: Use these to move back and forth between the tasks
    • Mark: You can use this to mark individual tasks, so that you can edit them again later. The marker appears as a pin on the left side of the task navigation.
    • Hint: This will take you to the support channel, this is not relevant for you during an exam in the EEC.
    • Comment: There you can leave comments for the teachers in any task.
    • Finish: Here you can submit the exam (see details below)
  • Top right: Your remaining time for the exam.
  • Bottom right: The maximum points that can be achieved for the respective task.


5) Submitting the exam

  1. If you want to submit your exam before the end of the exam period, click on the "Finish" button.
  2. The following security query appears asking whether you really want to end the test. If you now click on "Yes", the test is complete.
    When the exam time expires, the exam closes automatically and is automatically submitted.

Informationen und Anleitungen zur Durchführung von "E-Examinations" im EEC² (E-Examination Center 2)

1) Adresse EEC² (E-Examination Center 2)


Das EEC² (E-Examination Center 2) befindet sich in der Takustraße 39, 14195 Berlin, auf dem Gelände des Seminaris Tagungshotels (https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/9293478134).

2) Ablauf der Prüfung

  1. Bitte finden Sie sich zum Prüfungsbeginn im Prüfungsraum ein.
  2. Personalausweis und Studierendenausweis bereithalten.
  3. Getränke bitte auf den Boden stellen.
  4. Erläuterungen zum Umgang mit ggf. während der Prüfung auftretenden technischen Problemen erfolgen zu Prüfungsbeginn im Rahmen der gemeinsamen Einführung mit dem/der Lehrenden.
  5. Bitte beachten Sie, dass während der Prüfung automatisiert ein technisches Prüfungsprotokoll angefertigt wird. Dieses wird zur technischen Fehleranalyse herangezogen.
  6. Bei Fragen oder auftretenden Problemen melden Sie sich bitte.


Derzeit werden in den EECs der Freien Universität Berlin folgende Tastaturtypen eingesetzt: 

Cherry KC 1000 und Cherry KC 1068.

3) Login und Prüfungsstart

  1. Geben Sie nun die Login-Daten ein, die Sie von dem E-Exams Team während der Einführung erhalten haben. 
    Achtung: Bitte loggen Sie sich erst ein, wenn Sie dazu aufgefordert werden. Es handelt sich hierbei NICHT um die Login-Daten, die Sie für andere FUB-Dienste verwenden.

2. Ihnen wird nun eine Eigenständigkeits- und Einverständniserklärung angezeigt. Um an der Prüfung teilnehmen zu können, müssen Sie dieser Erklärung zustimmen.

Zum Zustimmen klicken Sie daher zuerst auf "Ich haben den vorherigen Text gelesen" und dann auf "Akzeptieren".

3. Sie gelangen nun auf eine Übersichtsseite. Auf dieser befinden sich die für Sie verfügbaren Prüfungen.

Wichtig: Prüfungen werden erst ab der Prüfungsstartzeit aktiviert. Der "Bereit"-Knopf wird auch erst dann angezeigt.


4) Prüfungsoberfläche

  • Linke Seite: die Prüfungsaufgaben (hier nummeriert). Sie können diese anklicken
  • Obere Navigation (von links nach rechts):
    • Pfeiltasten: mit denen können Sie zwischen Aufgaben vor- und zurückgehen
    • Markieren: Sie können sich damit einzelne Aufgaben markieren, um sie später noch einmal zu bearbeiten. Die Markierung erscheint in der linken Aufgabennavigation als Stecknadel.
    • Hinweis: über diesen Weg kommen Sie zum Support-Kanal, dieser ist für Sie während einer Prüfung im EEC nicht relevant.
    • Kommentar: dort können Sie bei geschlossenen Aufgaben Kommentare für die Lehrenden hinterlassen
    • Abgeben: hiermit beenden Sie die Prüfung (Details siehe unten) 
  • Rechts oben: Ihre verbleibende Zeit für die Prüfung.
  • Rechts unten: Die für die jeweiligen Aufgabe maximal erreichbaren Punkte. 


5) Prüfung beenden und Safe Exam Browser schließen

  1. Sofern Sie Ihre Prüfung noch vor Ende der Prüfungszeit abgeben wollen, klicken Sie auf den "Abgeben"-Knopf.
  2. Es erscheint die folgende Sicherheitsabfrage, ob Sie die Prüfung wirklich beenden wollen. Wenn Sie nun auf "Ja" klicken, ist die Prüfung beendet.
    Bei einem Ablauf der Prüfungszeit schließt sich die Prüfung automatisch und gilt als abgegeben.

Über den Button "Sitzung beenden" schließen Sie den Safe Exam Browser. Ihr Computer steht Ihnen nun wieder zur Verfügung.
