Details
We have three analysis workstations (BioAnalysis PC1, PC2 & PC3) for analyzing data obtained in the Biolabs of the Bioanalytic unit.
Do not store data on the workstation hard drives but use the BCP-storage network drives instead! Remeber that the use of USB sticks and hard drives s well as other devices is forbidden.
The workstations BioAnalysis PC1, PC2 & PC3 are equipped with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Affinity Suite (similar to photoshop), Origin, Mestre Niva, MatLab, Stata, JMP statistics, R, Endnote, Box.FU, Webex, Fiji (ImageJ), Zeiss, Zen blue, LAS X, FlowJo (License Dongle need to be booked separately), Graph Pad Prism (planned, not available now), Imspector (planned, not available now) and are administrated by the zedat and you can log in with your zedat account.

BioRender Licenses: Obida Bawadkji as SupraFAB IT responsible person can be asked for a (shared) BioRender license.
Software
University-wide licensed software packages and standard solutions for editing, video production, literature management, scientific work such as Adobe Acrobat, MS Office, EndNote, MATLAB, Mestrenova or Stata can be selected and installed on the software page of ZEDAT.
Software packages with licenses restricted to the BCP department such as ChemDraw, CambridgeStructuralDatabase CSD or OriginPro can be selected and installed on the BCP IT page.
Additional software for internal use only is avaible here:
- FlowJo can be used to analyse flow cytometry data, the FlowJo Software License-Dongle can be booked via OpenIRIS (use and registration see here): https://fub.openiris.io/timeline/b24cf01b-6dd3-4846-8d7f-b9c69739f87e.
- Fiji is an image processing package - a “batteries-included” distribution of ImageJ2, bundling a lot of plugins which facilitate scientific image analysis.
- Leica LAS X is the one software platform for all Leica microscopes: It integrates confocal, widefield, stereo, super-resolution, and light-sheet instruments from Leica Microsystems.
