Regulation (EU) No 461/2010 of 27 May 2010 of Article 101(3) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union to categories of vertical agreements and concerted practices in the motor vehicle sector has been enacted by the European Commission. The previous Regulation (EC) No 1400/2002 of 31 July 2002, concerning the same issue, applicable only within a limited period of validity, expired on 31 May 2010. The current one came into force on 1 June 2010 and shall expire on 31 May 2023. As every Regulation, it is directly applicable and legally binding to all Member States and individuals can directly invoke it.
