Due to the audience joker in the TV show Durch den Publikumsjoker in der TV-Sendung "Wer wird Millionär?" wurde die Technik der elektronischen Ad-hoc-Abstimmung bekannt. Sie können diese Technik auch in Ihrer Lehrveranstaltung einsetzen. Votingo schafft die Möglichkeit schnell, unkompliziert und anonym den Wissenstand der Studierenden während der Präsenzveranstaltung abzufragen. So können Lehrende gezielt didaktisch auf die ersichtlichen Bedarfe reagieren. Die Ergebnisse liegen sofort vor und können im Zuge der Veranstaltung präsentiert werden. Studierende erhalten so ein schnelles und fortlaufendes Feedback, sodass Verständnisschwierigkeiten konstruktiv und gezielt begegnet werden kann. Votingo unterstützt damit die Lernendenzentrierung in Präsenzveranstaltungen und kann dabei helfen den Lernerfolg der Studierenden zu verbessern. Lehrende müssen für die Nutzung mit VPN verbunden sein, für Studierende trifft das nicht zu. Das Programm kann jetzt schon in der Testphase genutzt werden und wird voraussichtlich zum Start des Wintersemesters 2020/21 freigeschaltet. Implementation forms
Mit Votingo können Lehrende in der Präsenzveranstaltung und bei standortverteilten Lehrszenarien Umfragen mit Studierenden durchführen.
With Votingo lecturers can survey students during face-to-face sessions and cross-location teaching scenarios.
The surveys are anonymous and mainly serve to give feedback as to the learning progression and to give reasons for what will happen next in the seminar; e.g. that phases with peer instruction are implementedDie Umfragen sind anonym und dienen vorrangig dazu Feedback zum Lernfortschritt zu geben und Anlässe für das weitere Seminargeschehen zu liefern, z.B. Phasen mit Peer Instruction.
Practical examples at the Freie Universität
Die Anwendung befindet sich noch im Testbetrieb. Sobald ein offizieller Release vorliegt, werden hier Beispiele aus der Freien Universität Berlin gesammelt.

This list, as it were, also specifies the timetable for the creation of classroom response scenarios. At the start there is the setting up of a question pool. Out of this pool surveys can be compiled that the participants should answer in the virtual space given when they are present in courses.
The set-up of the program envisages that every course on campus should receive its counterpart in Votingo. Thereby access for the participants remains the same over the course of an entire semester. The Votingo courses are then interlinked with individual questions or compiled surveys.
The votes polled are collected for each and every course and can be downloaded as a zip-packed .xlsx file.
Der Aufbau des Programms sieht vor, dass jede Veranstaltung auf dem Campus eine Veranstaltung in Votingo bekommen kann. So bleibt der Zugang für die Teilnehmenden im Laufe eines Semesters immer gleich. Die Votingo-Veranstaltungen werden dann mit Einzelfragen oder zusammengestellten Umfragen verknüpft.
Die abgegebenen Stimmen werden für jede Veranstaltung gesammelt und können als .zip-verpackte .xlsx-Datei heruntergeladen werden.
