Requirements e.g. device specific training & safety briefing:
- Register as new user for SupraFAB by writing to safety@suprafab.fu-berlin.de, provide personal info (name, working group, status/activity, office and laboratory room number) and confirm your particiaption in the next SupraFAB safety briefing taking place usually the first Monday of the month, 10:00 - 12:00 (if you do not get a confirmation, please write another email or contact the SupraFAB coordinator or secratary in room 102 or 203, see SupraFAB Homepage).
- Fill the transponder form with work safety questionaire(2. page), let it sign by your research group head and the respective responsible persons in supraFAB and finally hand in to Katharina Tebel (office 103) or Achim Wiedekind (office 102).
- Contact Marta Maglione (Katharina Achazi) to get an introduction & training to the device.
- Book the PC using OpenIRIS (protocls see here).
Do not store data on the workstation hard drives but use the BCP-storage network drives instead! Remeber that the use of USB sticks and hard drives s well as other devices is forbidden.
Details:
We have three analysis workstations (OM-Analysis PC1 & PC2) for analyzing data obtained in the OM unit and one additional processing workstation (ZEISS Processing PC) which can be used together with the ZEISS LSM 980 AiryScan with FLIM for direct processing of data but also as stand-alone workstation for analyzing data obtained with the ZEISS LSM 980 and the PicoQuant module.
TheZEISS Processing PC is equipped with a full offline Zeiss Zen software package, symfotime (need to be installed) and is self administrated.
The workstations OM-Analysis PC1 is equipped with a full offline LAS X, ImageJ, Affinity Photo, Affinity Publisher, Affinity Designer, Amira, GraphPad Prism, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office and is self administrated. Please log in with the account „BioSupraMol“ (password: use_me).
The workstation Biolab-Analysis PC2 is equipped with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Affinity Suite (similar to photoshop), Origin, GraphPad Prism, Mestrenova, ChemDraw, MatLab, Stata, JMP statistics, R, Endnote, Mendeley, Box.FU, Webex, Fiji (ImageJ), Zeiss, Zen blue, LAS X, FlowJo (License Dongle need to be booked separately: Software Biolab), Imspector and is administrated by the zedat. You can log in to OM Analysis PC2 with your zedat account.
