Welcome to the Biolab of the Organic Chemistry, Department of Biology, Chemistry and Pharmacy, Freie Universität Berlin. The Biolab is situated Altensteinstr. 23a. The shared labs can be used by scientists and students of the institute. The labs are equipped for a broad range of methods and techniques e in the field of cell biology and molecular biology. The Biolab Wiki provides information about available Biolab Instrumentation and Protocols / Methods as well as information including data handling, cell line and bacterial strain collection, lab access and safety regulations. For individual support in biology related issues please contact the Biolab Team.
Instruments and devices in the Biolab can be used after gaining the permission to work in the Biolabs and need to be booked via the booking system OpenIRIS.
